Two people Trump nearly killed last time, Mike Pence (hanging) and Chris Christie (c0vid) are planning to enter the race for the GOP presidential nomination this week.  Christie says he is entering to “…do to Trump what I did to little Marco” which is the most homoerotic reason given for running for president since Martin Van Buren ran against William Henry Harrison in 1840 on the “I just want to fuck guys” platform.  Mike Pence is running because…. honestly who the fuck knows?

Trump-appointed federal judge rules Tennessee law restricting drag shows is unconstitutional

The Tennessee law aimed at placing strict limitations on drag performances is unconstitutional, a federal judge ruled.

The first-in-the-nation law is both “unconstitutionally vague and substantially overbroad” and encouraged “discriminatory enforcement,” according to the ruling late Friday by U.S. District Judge Thomas Parker, who was appointed by former President Donald Trump.

“There is no question that obscenity is not protected by the First Amendment. But there is a difference between material that is ‘obscene’ in the vernacular, and material that is ‘obscene’ under the law,” Parker said.

Conservatives are outraged over fake AI images of Target’s Satanic offerings

Conservatives were already upset about Target over its LGBTQ+-inclusive Pride collection. But now they’re angry over fake AI-generated images that show the store selling “Satanic” clothing.

The images show kids wearing clothes with inverted pentagrams and goat heads and a store display with a red, goat-headed mannequin. The images were created by Facebook user Dan Reese with the AI program Midjourney, Reuters reported. A Target spokesperson told the publication that it “has never sold” the pictured items, and the items aren’t available on the store’s website.

Bill would offer free meals to all public school students

A bill recently introduced in the Delaware General Assembly would provide free breakfast and lunch to all public school students regardless of family income.

House Bill 125, sponsored by Rep. Rae Moore, D-Middletown, and Sen. Elizabeth Lockman, D-Wilmington, is designed to remove the stigma and stress for students while also providing a healthy, nutritious meal to support improved classroom performance.

“As a teacher, I have seen firsthand what can happen when basic needs are not met,” Moore said at a May 24 roundtable discussion at Everett Meredith Middle School in Middletown. “When students are hungry, their energy is depleted, their concentration weakens and their potential becomes untapped.”

    From Wikipedia:

The earliest use of the phrase “There ain’t no such thing as free lunch” appears as the punchline of a joke related in an article in the El Paso Herald-Post of June 27, 1938 (and other Scripps-Howard newspapers about the same time), entitled “Economics in Eight Words”

And whoever at Target isn’t contacting suppliers about that Satanist clothing is missing a big opportunity.

No free lunch? How about the rich? They get a free banquet every time the Trump lovers call the shots. As for satanic items in Target can’t wait, especially if it includes Evangelicals passing out from the lack of Gawd. At the end of the day the religion in the government game has bright promise in the regressive states like Florida and Texas, every where else not so much.

I’m boycotting companies that cave in to right wing boycotts. Almost broke my long-standing boycott of Bud Lite last month, but now that they caved it’s back on.

    • Is it considered a boycott if you don’t drink something because the beer sucks?

      • puck says:

My Yuengling boycott is a little harder to maintain, but there are plenty of other good beers. However my Papa John’s boycott is still holding firm.

Kudos on offering free meals to all students. I saw first-hand how low income children were treated in the cafeteria by students and even staff.
Maybe it’s time to roll out some Ron Desantis AI.

Seconded. But those meals are pretty much garbage, they will keep a kid from starving but eating like that five days a week is a fast track to ‘beetusville
