The media news-scape is cluttered with war porn, but not so much that it pushed the Trump porn out of the picture. Horse-race stories about the House speakership round out the only news that fits.

The big Middle East news is that Joe Biden will travel to Israel and Jordan on Wednesday. He’ll probably find the warring factions there easier to deal with than the Republican fuckwads in Washington.

One of Trump’s judges – I forget which one, it’s hard to keep them straight – hit the cosmetically enhanced fatso with a partial gag order, which, in the most predictable event ever, he immediately violated.

By yesterday afternoon Ohio’s Jim Jordan looked to have bullied his way to the speakership by threatening retribution against anyone who voted against him (when this kind of shit happens in African or Asian nations we decry them as uncivilized brutes and warlords, and we aren’t wrong). But late last night word emerged of a dark horse candidate who can deny him the victory.

And people wonder why Jason 330 hung up his spikes. The floor’s yours. Try to avoid puking on it.

  1. I’ll believe there’s a dark horse candidate when there’s a name attached to it. Can’t find said name yet…

  2. Interesting says:

Funny… did you hear that BHL, “Our Pal Val” and Nicole “I am no longer” Poore all used these exact words from “Jim Jordan” (I am paraphrasing):

“…xxx looked to have bullied their way to the (whatever position) by threatening retribution against anyone who voted against [them?]”

BHL and Poore husbands’ LOVE moving signs…. Val just gets her “boyfriends” to have a chat with them.

  3. Arthur says:

    A) The gag order on trump is useless since there wont be any way to enforce it and wont be enforced.

    B) BHL will remain in her hole till a week before thanksgiving, she’ll pop out say “whats been happening bitches? call me governor” and everyone will forget what is constantly transpiring in her circle

    • Re Point B: Don’t think so.

In fact, unless she removes this taint, I doubt that she opts to remain in her role as Lt. Governor. Meaning, that President Pro Tem Dave Sokola or his designee would preside over the Senate, which is a ceremonial function.

It happened before, recently, when Matt Denn filled the AG position vacated by Beau Biden. Sen. Blevins then essentially took over the role of Pro-Tem.

At least, that’s how I remember it.

      • Branden says:

Blevins was the pro tem. She (and other members of the majority) took turns presiding over the chamber.

        • Correct. The Lt. Governor is not obligated to chair the Senate as a procedure is in place for when they don’t. It’s ceremonial in that regard, and not essential.

  4. Welp, Jordan is not winning on the first ballot. About half way through the roll call and there are 11 R votes against him.

20 R votes for people other than Jordan. That’s a lot.

Wonder if he picks up, or loses, votes in a second round. Wonder if there will BE a second round today…

Not a day to be proud to be an American.

      • Americans didn’t bomb the hospital.

Israel claims it was a failed rocket from a Palestinian organization.

        Nobody knows yet.

        • delacrat says:

          Oh yeah,

‘nobody knows’ who blew up the Nordstream pipeline.

‘Nobody knew’ if it was B-52s that ‘secretly’ turned eastern Cambodia into a moonscape.

‘Nobody knows’ if it was the IDF who shot Shireen Abu-Akleh in the back of the neck.

‘Nobody knows’ at Caterpillar that their equipment would be used by ‘who knows who’ to run over Rachel Corrie.

‘Nobody knew’ why the cattle cars were loaded with people.

and ‘nobody knows’ if it was an American bomb or missile from an American plane with an Israeli pilot that leveled a Gaza hospital.

          • It’s a challenging time.

At this point, there is no consensus as to who bombed that hospital.

Assertions are not fact. I believe neither Israel or Hamas.

At some point, we’ll know. We don’t know as of now.

Let’s not traffic in irresponsible speculation. There’s nothing to be gained in doing so.

I find the entire concept of being proud of one’s country – or ashamed of it – strange and alien. The country is not you, and you are not the country.
