Some of the aides who flipped on Trumpo gave Jack Smith damning evidence about the traitor’s behavior as the attack on the Capitol unfolded on Jan. 6. True to form, the fatass was glued to the tube and refused to act to stop the violence. Motherfucker is as guilty as he is ugly.

The Republican Party likes to remind us that it’s shitbags all the way down. Joe Biden gave a speech yesterday at the South Carolina church where in 2015 a white supremacist slaughtered nine Black worshipers, and before it even started Rep. Nancy Mace (R-Performance Artist) rage-tweeted, “He’s literally using the pulpit of a church where a tragedy took place in order to further divide our nation on race, on gender and on politics.” Are they really so stupid that they think we haven’t noticed they accuse Democrats of the things Republicans are obviously guilty of? It’s not the shitbagginess I mind so much as the insult to my intelligence. I like the dull and ignorant to know that they’re dull and ignorant and to shut the fuck up accordingly.

That wasn’t Joe’s only problem at his speech: It was also interrupted by pro-Palestinian demonstrators chanting “Cease fire now!” As the protesters were led from the building the audience erupted in a chant of “Four more years!” Make of that what you will.

In a reportedly unanimous vote, the Florida GOP ousted leader Christian Ziegler, who’s been accused of raping the woman he and his Moms For Liberty wife previously had a threesome with. Oh, well, he’ll always have the videos…oh, wait. The cops have the videos. Everyone else will have to wait until one of them leaks it.

One thing people tend to overlook about the Nazis, because their other crimes were so heinous, is that they were a bunch of greedy thieves; I’ve always suspected the Jew-hatred was envy more than anything else. Which is my way of saying, is anyone surprised that just-resigned NRA poobah Wayne LaPierre lucratively lined his own pockets while ensuring hundreds of thousands of Americans died by gunfire on his watch. Multi-tasking isn’t always to be admired.

The floor’s yours.

Trump’s defense has devolved into “I, The President of the United States, have unlimited immunity from everything otherwise my dupes will riot, and Hunter Biden’s laptop.”

Luckily for him that ironclad legal reasoning only needs to persuade one very corrupt court.

“oh, wait. The cops have the videos”

    – Still reviewing the evidence for additional details.

“the audience erupted in a chant of “Four more years!”

    – The 2020 Dem primary taught us to respect the wisdom of the church ladies in SC.

  3. So, I’m half-paying attention to the national championship game between Michigan and Washington. Michigan makes a key defensive stop, and the band plays–the ‘Swing your razor high, Sweeney’ fanfare from Sweeney Todd. I did not expect that. Highlight of the game for me.

You ain’t getting that from one of those southern schools

““In the wake of the unprecedented and horrific attack by Hamas terrorists on Oct. 7 – the deadliest anti-Semitic attack since the Holocaust – I joined a bipartisan delegation to reinforce the United States’ steadfast support for Israel and its right to defend itself.”
    – Senator Christopher Andrew Coons October 23 2023

23,000 dead men, women and children in Gaza since then. That’s some steadfast defending.

  5. puck says:

You would think that, rather than bombing Hamas in Gaza where they hide among civilians, why not go after their patrons in Iran and elsewhere?

Well, tell that to US courts:

Billion-dollar lawsuit against Turkish state lender dismissed after top US court denies appeal

In 2020, these plaintiffs brought a lawsuit against Turkish state lender Halkbank in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York, accusing it of fraudulently transferring over $1 billion to Iran through US financial institutions, violating US sanctions and hindering the plaintiffs’ ability to collect their judgments. The lawsuit sought rescission and the turnover of fraudulent conveyances.

The district court dismissed the case in February 2021 on the grounds of “forum non conveniens” in favor of Halkbank’s argument that the case should be litigated in Turkey.

In May 2023 the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit upheld the lower court’s decision.

Following that, the plaintiffs filed a petition with the US Supreme Court to review the case.

The top court on Monday denied the petition without providing any reasoning, as is common with such denials due to the large number of petitions filed with the court each year.

I’m sure we got dozens, maybe hundreds, of Hamas among the 32,000.

      • puck says:

So those guys won’t be shooting at IDF engineers while they demolish the terror tunnels, and won’t be diverting humanitarian supplies when it arrives.

And careful readers will notice that, like any good polemecist, you added 9000 more to the Hamas propaganda number of 23,000 (which I assume to be already inflated by an order of magnitude)

        • John Kowalko says:

I assume your blind hatred is inflated by an order of magnitude and your brain is obviously deflated by a like orde of magnitude.

      • Sussex Worker says:

I saw that FB post about 32,000 dead. There is an asterisk next to that number. At the bottom and is small print is says “total includes estimate of people dead in the rubble” or something like that.

Dead civilians are never a good thing, but stop blindly accepting numbers someone posted somewhere.

        • Anon says:

The percent of Hamas we killed is probably still pretty high, at around maybe 5 or 6% of the total killed. Or, I suppose it is closer to 100% if you count babies in incubators as future Hamas. That’s steadfast. We’re clearly the good guys.

  6. Eric Blair says:

The HQ of the Israeli Defense Ministry is next to a huge shopping mall in Tel Aviv. Why is the IDF using human shields?

Schools in the Gaza envelope in southern Israel are being used for IDF housing. Why are they hiding in schools?

    Every accusation an admission.

  7. Anon says:

Trump lawyers argue that the President could order SEAL Team Six to assassinate a political rival. If the Supreme Court eventually decides to validate that argument, I doubt Biden would use it.
