Cat Russell is an award-winning jazz and blues vocalist. When she’s not performing on her own, she sings with the Steely Dan Band and the Doobie Brothers. She comes from jazz royalty–her father, Luis Russell, was the arranger and bandleader for Louis Armstrong; her mother performed in a group with Mary Lou Williams and Ruth Brown.
