Trump Doesn’t Visit Troops Because He’s Afraid:
Trump has spoken privately about his fears over risks to his own life, according to a former senior White House official, who has discussed the issue with the president and spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak candidly about Trump’s concerns.
“He’s never been interested in going,” the official said of Trump visiting troops in a combat zone, citing conversations with the president. “He’s afraid of those situations. He’s afraid people want to kill him.”
Gee, wonder how the soldiers feel.
Judge: Trump Can’t Just Change Immigration Laws B/C He Feels Like It. Of course, what concerns me is that Trump and McConnell are packing the courts with Federalist zealots. These rulings may not last for long.
Secretary Of State Provided ‘Plausible Deniability’ to Killer Prince. No wonder Trump won’t consult with the CIA and/or listen to the torture tape. Once again, he’s part of a cover-up.
A concert/film venue on the 7th Street Peninsula? Color me skeptical. At least it’s nice to know that ‘all’ we gave them was the land and road improvements.
What do you want to talk about?
Re: Pine Box on 7th Street peninsula.
1. Not technically a venue. It’s a sound stage and rehearsal space.
“It will be rented out to music acts, theater productions and film crews, which can use the space to build sets, practice performances and test out sound and lighting before taking a show to a theater or on the road. The building will also include video and lighting studios and office space.”
2. How much of our land and tax dollars did he give away? Nothing particular? Is that a technical term?
“We wanted to do everything we could to make the site attractive,” Purzycki said in the release, “but there was no particular assistance from us other than the commitment that we will improve road access at the site.”
The Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 allows illegal immigrates to apply for asylum:
8 U.S. Code § 1158 – Asylum (a) Authority to apply for asylum (1) In general
Any alien who is physically present in the United States or who arrives in the United States (whether or not at a designated port of arrival and including an alien who is brought to the United States after having been interdicted in international or United States waters), irrespective of such alien’s status, may apply for asylum in accordance with this section or, where applicable, section 1225(b) of this title.
Truman vetoed the bill. Congress overrode the veto.
I’m not a fan of allowing asylum when they don’t do go through a designated port. But it’s the law and laws must be obeyed, even by Trump.
I’m skeptical on steroids about “The Pine Box” ,marketing genius yet again or a reference to the fate of the place?
Seriously, no one, NO ONE, saw the irony of naming this place the Pine Box?
I mean, before Bamboozer?
