    The word Columbia is derived from Columbus and is indelible on America.

    The name Columbia was given “personification” as a female who represented and became a symbol of liberty and the United States.

    Did you know that “Hail Columbia” is the official vice presidential anthem of the United States Vice President? …. Wikipedia is just full of trivia isn’t it…lol

    Columbo was a long-running fictional detective show featuring Peter Falk portraying an annoying (much like your trolling personality) detective.
    The Columbia Broadcast System (CBS) is a television network that features the highly successful Steven Colbert show.
    Colombia is a South American country that exports much of the world’s cocaine and has produced that great leader of men, (other than Donald), Pablo Escobar.
    Peets makes a delicious “Columbian” grade of coffee.
    “Columbia the gem of the ocean” was a song we sang in grade school.
    Columbine, the tragedy, has a similar name and sad history not unlike Christopher’s Native American genocide.
    So what’s your point RSE? Acknowledging your own personal intellectual impotency or sowing another conservative trolling distraction?

    Happy to see Columbus day go but they need a better name than indigenous people day. there is no marketing appeal to that. cant see heading to kohls for their annual indigenous people day sale to get 20% off
