Trump, HHS, To Cut CDC Out Of Gathering Virus Data.  There is only one reason to do this: to keep the worst hidden from the American people for as long as possible:

Tuesday evening, Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro (D-Conn.), chairwoman of the House Budget Committee’s subcommittee that funds HHS, issued a statement accusing the department of acting “in direct violation with the law” by ordering hospitals to bypass the CDC in reporting coronavirus data. “HHS has been operating as a dangerous, political apparatus and cannot be trusted to share accurate hospital information with Congress and the American public,” DeLauro said.

HHS. Isn’t that the agency headed by Chris Coons’ buddy Alex Azar? Why, yes, yes it is. Chris, can’t you reach across the aisle and talk some sense to your buddy? Still proud of that vote?

64 Videos. Of NYPD Cops Attacking Protesters. 64.  Not a few bad apples.  It is ingrained in the entire police force.

Trump Backs Down On Student Visas.  All he succeeded in doing was to piss off even more people.  Now he’s pissed off the troglodytes who wanted them furriners out of the country. I call it a win-win.

Three Senate Races Set For Fall.  Maine. Texas. Alabama

Chamber Of Commerce Largely AWOL This Cycle.  While this may benefit D’s this cycle, I’m not thrilled with this development.  I don’t want to see a repeat of Clintonian ties to big business.  Hey, Chris Coons embodies and embraces this.

McKinsey & Company Makes Over $100 Mill ‘Advising’ Governments On Covid Response.  Has this company ever done anything, you know, worthwhile?

Donald Trump’s ‘Meandering Monologue’.  So low energy that he makes Biden seem positively peripatetic.  He is ill.

He weighed in on China and the coronavirus and the Paris climate change accord and crumbling highways. And then China again and military spending and then China again and then the coronavirus again. And the economy and energy taxes and trade with Europe and illegal immigration and his friendship with Mexico’s president. And the coronavirus again and then immigration again and crime in Chicago and the death penalty and back to climate change and education and historical statues. And more.

“We could go on for days,” he said at one point, and it sounded plausible.

More Rethuglican Criminal Trix.  US Rep from Kansas registered his home address as a UPS store in Topeka in order to vote in a municipal election.  His daddy is also under investigation for fraudulently underwriting his son’s campaign.

What do you want to talk about?
