McGuinness apparently asked to speak to a Republican Women’s group about her anticipated run for Gov, and got a big “Fuck no, you are a Democrat.”

I know, right.  So many confused motherfuckers crowded into one sentence.

    I bugs the fuck out of me that so many Delaware Democrats (particularly party types) want to continue pretending that the DEGOP is still the DEGOP of Mike Castle and Pete Dupont.

    I for one look forward to her fourth-place finish in the Governor’s primary. Standing up for independent pharmacies is *such* a galvanizing issue!

    Unfortunately, she’ll still be Auditor unless someone primaries her for re-election next fall.

    Who else do the Sages here think are likely to run for the keys to Woodburn? BHL, of course. Navarro? LBR?

      Well, LBR would be the 800-lb gorilla. Were she to get in, it’d be all over.

      Of course, if Carper doesn’t run again, she’d certainly gun for that Senate seat. It wouldn’t totally shock me if she, wait for it, primaries Carper. I think she’d whip his butt in a primary. In fact, I think Carper would do what Harris McDowell did–retire in the face of an almost-certain loss.

      Matt Meyer is almost certainly running for Governor. Doesn’t look like Kathleen Jennings is, although she’d be formidable.

      2024 is gonna be a great year for political punditry.

    Matt Meyer is running for Governor and supporting Marcus Henry for NCC CE in 2024.

    No surprise to anyone here that I am firmly in the ANYONE BUT MATT MEYER camp.
