Coons Still Thinks Brown Jackson Will Get GOP Votes to Confirm.

CBS/Gayle King: Some Republicans are calling her (Ketanji Brown Jackson) too radical. Yes or no, do you expect bipartisan support on this?

Coons:  I would certainly hope so.  She got three Republican votes when confirmed for the DC circuit.

This is absurd. The over/under is one Republican vote, and I’m taking the under.

I guess I’m a little pessimistic, but with Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, still walking around freely, I don’t think conformation is a sure thing.

It is an election year, and you know you can’t do politics in an election year.

    • Regardless of what the calendar says, they are all election years.

Kysten Sinema? More like Krysten Cineplex because I think she’s out to the movies.

Alby gets it right, their all election years, it never stops. And to some extent it’s a war, a war the Dems need to fight or go the hell home and let somebody in whose up for the fight. Coons and Carper this means you!
