With Claymont’s influx of younger, above average wage earners, and other revitalization projects, we involved with the Claymont Renaissance must work even harder to to support our challenged neighborhoods and residents in need.
The Claymont Community Center, proprietor of the food closet is looking to expand its program out of its basement to an adjacent building to create the Claymont Community Pantry and Garden Plots.
Your support would be greatly beneficial to so many area residents both now and in the future.
I love everything about the Claymont Food Closet. I got to know the people who run that facility when my youngest daughter volunteered there many years ago.
When I worked at Trader Joe’s, we were able to form a relationship with them, and they picked up food from us almost every day.
Great people doing important work. We try to give a donation every year.
I’m biased, but most of my extra dosh goes toward Delaware’s abortion fund, First State Abortion Fund. No one should be denied an abortion due to cost
