    My state senator is Margaret Rose Henry. And I think my city councilperson… I think… is Hanifa Shabazz.

    OK, I fail. I’m pretty sure my state representative is also an African-American woman, but her name escapes me at the moment.

    County Council, no idea.

    Sen. Gary Simpson and Rep. Joe Booth. The Lewes Mayor is Jim Ford and the council (all at-large) is Ted Becker, Barbara Vaughn, Stephanie Tsantes and Vic Letanoff (I may be confusing him with his son… my age showing).

    Update: Just checked. I was right. But I doubted myself.

    My state senator’s seat is vacant; Senator Rhodes died in an automobile accident. My State Representative is Keith McCall. The Mayor is Tom Copher, and “my” councilman id Brad Yaich.

    That would be Joe Miro (R) in the House, Liane Sorenson (R) in the Senate, and Bill Tansey (R) on NCCo Council. How the heck did I land in Republican land? I even ran against Miro last year and still no joy. I’ve been told this is the most Republican niche in the entire state. There aren’t any really rich people here, just a bunch of wannabes! Who are turning into used-to-bes. ;o)

    DG in #14 hit on something, intentional or not. All of us in NCCo are overlooking Penrose South-of-the-Canal’ers-are-racists-and-will-take-WFH-whether-they-like-it-or-not Hollins as our at-large Councilman.

    pollingplace.delaware.gov will give you your state legislative districts, at least, which will give you a clue to looking up your legislators.
