  1. Von Cracker says:

    Too bad stupid isn’t illegal.

  2. Unstable Isotope says:

Is that Mitch McConnell in the lower left hand corner of the bottom picture?

Also, what does the U.S.-Mexico border have to do with taxes? I guess this is just further proof that conservatives are mad about something and everything.

  3. R Smitty says:

Am I mistaken, or do neither of these have anything to do with the original intent of today?

    Non-partisan, my ass.

  4. You have no idea how wrong you are since you didn’t revolt like I did today. pantywaste rino

  5. R Smitty says:

You feeling all conservasquishy now? You’ve assimilated? 😛

Yeah, I steered clear of this for good reason, aside from work.

  6. Bill Dunn says:

Ron White says, “You can’t fix stupid…. Stupid is forever….” and you tell them ” Next time you get a thought…. let it go.”

  7. Thanks for attending. Despite some of your comments 90% of the event did pertain to taxes and spending.

The best part of the event was the new people it brought to the Tea Party. For those who scream about non partisan any political party was welcome to attend. One of the speakers was the Libertarian Party Chairman and one was the GOP Chairman.

The turnout was very strong (over 800) and I would encourage those who oppose the Tea Party to have their own event.

  8. Great event which was open to all. The Libertarian Party Chairman spoke and so did the GOP chair. Every political party was welcome.

The turnout was very good on a bad weather day and the event ran pretty smoothly. Speakers in the first group were varying in age and political registration.

Despite your pictures 90% of the signs and speech were about Taxes and Spending.

    Matlock! Matlock! Matlock!

  10. Despite your pictures 90% of the signs and speech were about Taxes and Spending.

The only thing true in that statement is your name Mike.

90? Really? Because I took a lot of pictures of signs and not very many of them had to do with spending and taxing.
    Surely not 90%.

And as for the speeches not 90%.

Charlie Copeland complaining about his grandkids and kids paying off debt that he was fine with for the past 8 years was priceless. It was like no one knew he was a DuPont heir…what a joke man

  11. MJ says:

I’m still trying to figure out what “legalize the constitution” means.

  12. Rebecca says:

    Bill,

There’s also a lyric in a Jimmy Buffett song that goes . . .”there ain’t no dumb-ass vacine”.

  13. MJ,

YOU AND ME BOTH. I said the same thing to Mike Matthews actually.

  14. MJ says:

Not sure if that is Mitch McConnell. I didn’t see Elaine Chao in any of the photos.

  15. jen says:

It could have only been about 800 people (up from the previous declaration of 700) if you counted the people over and over as they moved around. I noticed a lot of shifting around from foot to foot, spot to spot.

Remember the woman (Joanne) on Laugh-In who would put her finger to her cheek and chortle: BORING!

Thank you for taking the time to attend. Thank goodness that I did not have to go.
