Reminder: Democratic Convention Tonight

Tonight the New Castle Democratic Party is holding a special convention to select the candidate for New Castle County Council President. The convention will be at William Penn High School at 713 E. Basin Road in New Castle. The convention starts at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6 PM. All registered Democrats can attend but only committee members can vote. At least two candidates have come forward: current County Council member Tim Sheldon and civic league activist Bill Dunn. Candidates have until 6:30 PM to come forward.
