Christie: Climate Change is real and man-made, but we shouldn’t do anything about it

Filed in National by on August 22, 2011

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has declared himself to be a sane Republican in that he believes “climate change is real” and that “human activity plays a role in these changes” and it is “impacting our state.”

That is where his sanity ended, as he made these epic pronouncements while vetoing a bill passed by the Democratic-controlled legislature that would have required the state to remain in the regional program designed to curtail carbon emissions.

So kids, the lesson is never clean up your spills; instead, make them worse.

If you change the word “climate change” to “science” in the statements of the GOP candidates, you get to the underlying truth

“Science is one contrived phony mess that is falling apart under its own weight.” – Rick Perry

“I don’t believe science is real. Do we have science? Yes. Is it a crisis? No.” – Herman Cain

“Science is a hoax.” – Michelle Bachmann
