Obama in Germany vs. Bush in Germany

I am so happy for our country. We are going to have a grown up adult President again.

If your closing sentence is the case, why then does Obama’s smile look like he’s ripping one right there, at that moment? Serious, take a look and imagine back to those playground days. “Oh, man, that one is going to reek!”

You have to use your insane imagination to bash Obama. All we have to use is facts to bash Bush.

And the fact is Bush groped Merkel, as demonstrated in that picture.

You have to use your insane imagination …

and I happily embrace that characteristic…your point is??!!
    😛

P.S.: He groped her? I thought he was snapping her bra.

I’d rather have a president who makes the German leader nervous.

She looks like a MILF eagerly waiting for the start of the indoor shoot at brazzers.com.

It’s just a little jungle fever!

I’d rather have a leader that doesn’t make me nervous. I have been living in horrible fear the last eight years with Bush’s finger on the button, wondering when he would fall off the wagon.

    deldumb,

I don’t which is more laughable, that you truly believe one man has so much actual power, or that you’ve wasted eight years worrying about.

The American presidency is a crop rotation of idiots, in case you hadn’t noticed.

You’re snuggling up to the one whose only worthwhile achievement is good dental hygiene.

He gots some gud choppas, eh!

P – I can (and will) be bought for the DHB election. Just be warned that DTB/DV works near me and already bought me a cup of coffee last week…it was a BIIIIIIIG coffee, too.

Coffee???? Oh, Smitty, you sell yourself short. I can do better than that! How about a Grey Goose martini and my undying adoration?

  9. RSmitty

I’m a bad boy. Jack and Coke, So-Co and Coke, Capt’ ‘n Coke. Hell, I’m flexible, Jack and So-Co. No ‘tini’s, tho.

As far as undying adoration, you are in a line with many others (including the Mrs). Flaunt me with material items, please. 😛

I keep looking at Bush’s stupid face in that picture and he really looks taken aback that the German President didn’t relax and enjoy the back rub.

“Wow…who woke up crotchety pants? Are you saying that Obama doesn’t rip one or something? Sheesh.”

Well didn’t you know? The Obamessiah can never do or say anything wrong.

pal joey – you’re making the rest of us look bad – try to class it up

I know foreign crowds like obama, but would they do what he tells them to?

everyone overseas loved carter and look where it got him, conversely no one liked Nixon but he got China to turn against Russia. And of course, everyone hates Putin, but they all follow his lead. obama would be better liked overseas, but that doesn’t mean people will actually listen to him.

Why would a foreign crowd do whatever Obama tells them to do? Those crowds very likely don’t exactly follow what their own leaders want them to do. Sorta like us.

The President of the United States of America gets listened to. It is the default position. The challenge is to get listened to in a way that engages folks to folks your lead and to be a part of your project. An attitude completely missing from the grounded in high school strategy — you are with us or against us! — currently in play.

I agree that the “you’re with us or against us” strategy is foolhearted, but so is the “let’s all hold hands and sing kumbaya” method that Obama subscribes to.

What we need is someone with balls who isn’t a terrible diplomat (and uncouth) like Bush is.
