The U.S. labor market strengthened last month, adding 120,000 new jobs and pushing the unemployment rate down to 8.6%. This marks a three year low for the unemployment rate.
A new poll from UMass Amherst shows Democrat Elizabeth Warren leading Republican Sen. Scott Brown by a 43-39 margin.
Sources close to Herman Cain’s presidential campaign say that Gloria Cain “wants her husband to leave the race and has no desire to do additional interviews about their marriage or the constant accusations. They describe a woman angry that her life has been turned upside down by her husband’s need for attention and power by any means.” I would be angry too. Good for Gloria. I hope she divorces you, Herman, and takes half.
Yes, unemployment is lower, but hourly wages have dropped, too.
Hispanic Republican announces run for new Sussex Senate District….Glen Urquhart stomps all over him by announcing today that he’s also running for that seat.
I guess McDonalds did alot of hiring.
They’re jobs, but they’re not jobs worth having. Also factor in all the people that have been clocked out of the workforce estimates but are still looking for work.
They are tightening the screws. The point is to force us to accept and adjust to a permanently lower standard of living, so that the 1% may have a bigger share of the pie. It is a painful process, but one that we seem to be willing to submit to, so far.
Regarding the senate seat, I’ve never heard of the guy who announced today. Does anyone else know him? And, I’m not talking about Urquhart.
Never heard of him, Crunchy, but we’ll do some research.
Why bother? Urquhart will be the nominee, and we take an even larger senate majority
Why would Urkel run for the state senate after running for Congress?
Urkel will be a heck of an opponent, with his organization and contacts from his run forn congress. Although, Andy Staton will wipe the floor with him in any debate. It will be a helluva race, either way.
why? because he’s a douchebag, that’s why. I guess if you throw enough money into a local race you can make it interesting no matter how terrible a fit for the area you are…
