Thanks, but watching the grass grow in my front yard is much more exciting.

  2. delawaredem says:

It must not be, since you are here.

  3. Is someone gonna record your appearances? May not be able to listen to it all…

  4. Damn…one of you guys couldn’t get down in studio? Asking them to get more than one person on the phones is a tough task.

  5. delawaredem says:

Oh Dear God. They disconnected me and Dave by accident, and now only Donviti is speaking for us. The Humanity!

  6. delawaredem says:

Whew. Dave and Cassandra are on, and Donviti did great

  7. delawaredem says:

    Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Donviti just endorsed Sarah Palin on air.

Oh wait, he was being sarcastic

  8. Damn! You guys need to get a copy of that! I missed it!

  9. jason330 says:

You guys were great. I got dragged into a meeting just befor 1:00 and caught the last ten minutes.

  10. delawaredem says:

And I got bumped off when DV joined, and for a while there, they thought I was you.

  11. pandora says:

I caught about half, but couldn’t get through! Wonder how many calls they couldn’t get to?

    You guys rock!

  12. selander says:

Yeah, turns out folks couldn’t get in b/c the lines were full.

Thanks, though. I don’t know if it was interesting to anybody else, but I at least had a chance to get my own questions answered.

  13. delawaredem says:

That is a lesson for next time (if there is a next time), we need to show up at the studio, and not crowd out the phone lines.

  14. cassandra_m says:

Thanks for having us on! That was alot of fun…

  15. selander says:

This is probably my last guest host spot, but I’ll let whomever picks up that role know.

With all those lines, it looked like it should have worked.

    Oh yay! A circlejerk!

    j/k. Sorry I missed it…crazy work obligations.

  17. delawaredem says:

I loved that the normal right wing idiots that listen to Rick Jensen were forced to listen to us for a change.

  18. Joanne Christian says:

And I did!!! You guys did a great job!!

  19. JohnnyX says:

So Joanne we have you on record as saying you’re a “right wing idiot?” Nice! 🙂

  20. Joanne Christian says:

    No…normal…..

  21. delawaredem says:

LOL. I am sure she did not mean it like that, JohnnyX.

  22. A. Bundy says:

Hopefully one of you mentioned how the Palin “book banning” story turned out to be total bullshit. I’m guessing that you did not, and that is to be expected.

Check the USA Today story. She never wanted to ban anything, donVD.

  23. anon says:

Then why did Palin fire the librarian who said she would resist banning books?

  24. delawaredem says:

They why did she ask? Why did she fire the librarian?

Bundy, either you are an idiot, or you are a liar. And you are probably both.

  25. delawaredem says:

Seriously, no one asks a librarian about the process of banning books unless you want to ban books. If the actual banning of books was not her goal, then why did she ask?

Just to satisfy her curiousity? LOL.

  26. pandora says:

Hmmm… asking about banning books. Whatever for?

“She would not address her reasons for leaving Wasilla, but friends say she felt badly treated by Mayor Palin.

“I don’t care to revisit that time in my life,” Baker told ABC News.”

  27. Nancy Willing says:

I was glad to join in. Maria and Mike are looking for guests as well.

  28. Dorian Gray says:

    Dear A. Bundy:
    RE: Book Bans

Based on your comment (#22 above) I did an assiduous investigation of the censorship issue. Although I am still unclear about your position here’s what I found out. The book banning “story” suggests that Palin made inquires to the Wasilla librarian about what her response would be is she were asked by the mayor (Palin) to remove books from the collection. The librarian said that the book purchased adhered to all national guidelines and she would not remove any of them. Two weeks hence the librarian, Ms. Emmons, was dismissed. However, no books were ever removed.

Your claim is that “the story” is “bullshit”. I assume you mean that no books were ever removed. However this is not “the story”. The story is the question raised, the answer and the subsequent dismissal.

The desire to censor is a relevant issue, no? This is the same as Obama’s desire to sign gun-control laws (as previously discussed here). He feels the legislation wouldn’t pass but he is evaluated on his intent.

    So my question is thus:

What the fuck are you talking about?

    Thank you,
    Dorian Gray
