Adam Nagourney at the NYT brings up this possibility in their political blog today:
Chris Matthews Corners a Bishop
And the Bishop he corners is Bishop Tobin — the one who denied Communion to Patrick Kennedy. Matthews clearly feels strongly about this here — watch this 11 minute segment
Late Night Video — WTF Blanket
This is definitely NSFW, folks — but is certainly timely before everyone really ramps up their Christmas shopping:
He Was FOR Tough Environmental Regulation Before He Was Against Tough Environmental Regulation
Of course, taking on the “Overregulation” mantra in the wake of Valero closing is largely about an opportunity to push another piece of ideology — one not especially connected to reality. Given that plant’s problems, exemptions and fairly weak enforcement it isn’t as though the State hasn’t been bending over backwards to give Valero the benefit of the doubt. Why? Because we were really, really, really sure that Smitty would be sporting one of these:
First Looks at Fred Cullis, DE-AL Candidate
From WDEL — Mr. Cullis is a Hockessin republican that no one has heard of apparently. From WDEL’s video — he was not happy with Castle’s vote on cap and trade, but he is making the “independent voice” noises which bears alot of watching.
Pigeon Impossible
This is one of the best animations I’ve seen all year — this is alot of fun! Take six minutes and make your day…
New Commercial Targets Castle on Health Care Vote
This excellent commercial is from the SEIU in conjunction with the Foundation for Patients’ Rights, and started broadcasting in Delaware markets last night:
Late Night Video — Dogs Getting Their Soldiers Back
These are so great, these dogs hardly know what to do with themselves when they see their soldier owners after months of separation — but make sure you have a box of kleenex around:
