Trump vs (Insert Democrat Here)

There is going to be a lot of punditry around the Democratic horse race - 99% of it is bullshit. You can tune all of that out. Here is the bottom line: The Democrat who wins the nomination will be the one who is the most optimistic, upbeat, and hopeful candidate overall. That is to say - the anti-Trump. The candidate, like Obama, who seems to have the sunshine on his/her face and a fair breeze at his/her back. I don't know who that person is. It looked like it could be Uncle Joe for a while, now I doubt it. That person was Bernie in 2016, but the that contest was rigged from the outset for Clinton. I'm not sure Bernie has the most sunshine this year. We'll see. This is all the punditry you need.

I love Tim Ryan

Rep Tim Ryan from Ohio has announced, and has spoken the words "industrial policy" which jumps him up in my esteem. Germany has highly paid manufacturing jobs because they have an industrial policy. We don't have any industrial policy in this country because we've turned all industrial policy making over to CEOs that see every decision in terms of the next financial quarter's stock price. I also love whoever the Dems nominate, and I'm not interested in any criticism of any candidate that is based on repeating Russian memes.

It’s about time

What is Trump so desperate to hide?
House Ways and Means Committee chair Richard Neal (D-MA) formally requested six years of Donald Trump’s tax returns from the Internal Revenue Service Wednesday, setting up a likely legal fight with the administration over the request. Trump is the first president in decades not to make his tax returns publicly available. The request could shed new light and answer longstanding questions about Trump’s finances. Neal also requested the returns for eight of Trump’s business entities in a move that could provide yet more detail on the president’s financial history. In making the request, Neal invoked an obscure Roaring Twenties-era provision that empowers the head of the ways and means committee – as well as two other congressional committees – to request the tax returns of any filer.

Me? I knew all along

Like many all seeing bloggers, I can't wait for "Oh, well, of course everyone in the press knew that Trump's mental capacity was declining... we just didn't think it was…

Anti-Trump Sentiment Still Strong in PA

This special election for a PA state Senate seat has been largely ignored in the national media. I guess it doesn't fit the "Trump can win" narrative the press loves so much.
COLLIER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Democrat Pam Iovino has claimed victory over Republican D. Raja in the special election for a vacant state Senate seat in the 37th District in suburban Pittsburgh Tuesday night. Iovino held 53.7 percent of the vote as of 10:20 p.m., compared to 46.3 percent for Raja, with 94 percent of all precincts reporting. The 37th district includes several of Allegheny County's southern and western municipalities, as well as Peters Township in Washington County. Iovino will take over a seat that has largely been controlled by Republicans the past 50 years. It was vacated by Republican Guy Reschenthaler after he was elected to Congress. The district is politically divided: Democrats have a registration edge, even though President Donald Trump won it in 2016.

Trump is Coo Coo Bananas

I'm very normal. Oranges, Oranges, Oranges. My father was born in a wonderful place in Germany. GOP Health care is great, much better than Obamacare. After the election. I'm going to close the border with Mexico. The Republican Party will be known as the party of great health care. If Republicans take the house back. I might close the border. No collusion. No obstruction. I hope they take a look at the oranges of the investigation. The Mueller report, we need to look at the oranges.
Crazier still, Anthony Delcollo thinks Trump is doing a great job.
