Go-along-to-get-along "moderates" had a rough night as a wave of progressive activist replaced a host of "Republican-Lite" incumbent Democrats. Marie Pinkney defeats Dave McBride in SD13. Eric Morrison defeats Earl Jaques in the 27th RD Madinah Wilson-Anton over John Viola Rep. District 26 Sarah McBride won the open seat in SD1 Kyle Evans Gay wins the right to take out Cathy Cloutier in (SD5) in November. Sherae "Rae" Moore wins the 8th RD seat vacated by Republican-Lite Quinton Johnson Adewunmi Kuforiji wins in the 34th.

Crossroads Presbyterian Church notified the Department elections late last week that the church would not be open for Spet 15th primary election - AND THE DEPARTMENT IS JUST GETTING THE NOTICE OUT NOW. The polling pace finder STILL shows Crossroads as my polling place. WTF?

I predict that no matter what happens tomorrow, candidates like Jess Scarane, Sarah McBride, Kyle Evans Gay, Marie Pinkney, Kyra Hoffner, Larry Lambert, Rae Moore, Sean Matthews, Madinah Wilson-Anton, Eric Morrison, Matt Meyer, Ciro Poppiti, and Kevin Caneco are the future of the Delaware Democratic Party and the gasping-for-breath, "Dark Money Dems" are done. If not in this election, in 24 months. (All seats, even Senate seats, are back in play in the next election.) Read this about Rhode Island if you haven't yet and tell me it doesn't sound like Delaware. The people I mention above (and other great insurgent candidates) just need to stay in the fight between elections.  Keep your campaigns in place, and the intellectually and physically exhausted Ennis/Jaques/Carney/BHL/Carney/Coons Democratic Party will be ousted. If not now... soon.

Studies show that nothing beats face to face interaction for influencing voters. While that is out these day, friends and neighbors have an inside track when it comes to getting a message out - particularly when it comes to getting the message out about insurgent primary campaigns. That's why I got the "Vote Builder" list for Dems in my neighborhood who voted in primaries and put together this little door hanger including a little note from me. They are going out to 88 neighbors today and tomorrow.

Funny how these guys like Viola and Jaques are suddenly revealIng how progressive they are.

Get off your goddam high horse Beau and maybe... I don't know... try playing by the rules?

Have a great weekend and when we all get back from wherever we are going it will be in the home stretch of the primary election.   SEPT 15th!    Work your ass off for your primary candidate(s).  Remember rule three and four of the four Iron RULES OF DEMOCRATIC POLITICS:

• 3) The Leadership of the Democratic Party is not the Democratic Party
• 4) The Democratic Party is made up of the people who are working hard to fix the shitmess created by the Leadership of the Democratic Party which all too often works hand in glove with the GOP.
