Joe played by the rules and did the right thing, stepping aside and letting the lackluster Hillary Clinton be President. When that didn't work out, it seemed like his "turn" to be President. But fucking people keep fucking asking GODDAM QUESTTIONS ALL THE FUCKING TIME. JESUS PEOPLE!!! Don't you know it is his turn?

Joe Biden apparently doesn’t care if you vote for him. No, really. On Tuesday in Iowa the former vice-president had the latest in a series of bizarre encounters with potential voters, telling a man who asked him about the issue of building new pipelines and where he stood on the climate crisis to “go vote for someone else”. The man, the former Iowa state representative Ed Fallon, said that he would support him in the general election against Donald Trump but not in the Iowa primary, which irked Biden, who wrongly assumed he was a Bernie Sanders supporter.

In my lifetime, Bill Clinton had it. Hillary didn't. Obama had it for miles. Al Gore, John Kerry, Walter Mondale didn't. Bernie has it. Koubuchar and Biden don't. Pete may not have it, but at least sees the importance of trying to get it. In spite of the fact that he is deeply, DEEPLY, unpopular, Trump has it.

On Saturday, January 25th, Coons spent the afternoon listening to Trump's lawyers defend him in the Senate.  On the evening of Saturday, January 25th, Coon shifted to listening to Trump's family and friends defend him over cocktails at Jeff Bezos' house.   It is a stone cold fact that during his time as sworn juror in the trial of President Trump Coons partied with Trump's daughter Ivanka and others very close to the President at the notorious Alfalfa Club. At best this is poor judgement, and at worst it reveals Coons for the bloated out of touch plutocrat that he is.   In an attempt to see if this was merely very poor judgment which Coons now regrets I called  his Press Secretary Sean Coit this morning identifying myself as Jason from Delaware Liberal.   Sean Coit didn't take the call but instructed the perfectly charming telephone answering person to ask me to put my questions in an email.   Here is what I sent:

If Bernie wins the nomination, I'll be looking forward to hearing Coons say "Party Unity My Ass" on Morning Joe.    That could end up being my favorite part.   

If we've learned anything from the impeachment so far it is that the United States of America is not its armies. It isn't its grand marble buildings and flags. It isn't its soil, or even its constitution. The United States of America is the premise that the people are in charge, and that the people want what is right and abhor what is wrong. It is a simple idea that has illuminated the globe. Even when we were terrible stewards of that idea, we turned to it just as in the cold of winter we turn our faces to the sun. Now Mitch McConnell will work to overturn that premise. Mitch McConnell wants you to believe that you are powerless. McConell wants you to accept what is wrong out of your feelings of powerlessness. McConnell and Trump want you to buy the lie that the modern world is complex and "right and wrong" is old-timey bullshit. They want you to think that the power belongs to the pompous and self-important. McConnell's defense of the President will boil down to this perverted idea of the United States. I hope we are not to ground down by cynicism to believe it. I hope we all know the truth. And that the truth becomes imbeded on our hearts and our heads. And above all, I hope the truth spurs us to defeat every Republican at every level of government and banish McConnell's perversions now and forever.

Let's face it - John Roberts is a fucking loser. He isn't going to see that this is a fair trial. If anything he is a stand in for the empty-headed media seeking shame "balance" and false equivalencies in place of justice. The only way to impeach Trump is to impeach every Republican running for every office everywhere. Have you picked the races you are going to use to impeach Trump yet? Have you committed your time and money to impeaching Trump here in Delaware by removing his support structure? If you want justice, work to impeach Trump in November by helping elect Eric Morrison. Now it is our job to get to the finish line and remove the stain of Trump from Delaware in every office and every district.
