Mitt Romney Goes to London to Get His Ugly American On

It is an unfortunate stereotype, but why in heck would you -- a Presidential hopeful-- travel to a host country (hoping for lots of positive photo ops, hoping to look statesmanlike), then launch into a criticism of their signature event? That event being the Olympics and supposedly the source of Romney's hoped for photo ops. This is also a country currently under Conservative control (they might be your allies, dude) and one where you have just told the world that the current President doesn't treat as a special partner. But Romney goes to London and tells NBC news:

Fat jerk hopes to be Preznit one day

There is no sedan chair big enough to carry Christine's fat ass to the White House.
AP: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says he's open to running for president in four years if the job is open. The first-term Republican says he hopes fellow Republican Mitt Romney beats President Barack Obama in November and seeks re-election in 2016. But if the presidency is open, Christie says he'll "certainly think about it.

Worthy?

Who says something like this? After Gabby Giffords was shot Republicans were screaming about not "politicizing" the event, screeching about how "now was the time to think about the victims." They were all about showing "respect" for the victims and their families.

On the Hustings With Bryan Townsend

After spending a couple of hours at the doors (aka trying to keep up) with 11th District State Senate candidate Bryan Townsend last night, I can only say this: The residents of the 11th District would be SO much better off with Bryan Townsend as their Senator that it's not even a close call. He is the single best first-time candidate I've encountered since Dave Sokola. And, yes, when elected, he would immediately join Senators Peterson and Sokola as one of the best senators in Dover.

The Anglo-Saxon Romney Campaign

In remarks that may prompt accusations of racial insensitivity, one suggested that Mr Romney was better placed to understand the depth of ties between the two countries than Mr Obama, whose father was from Africa. “We are part of an Anglo-Saxon heritage, and he feels that the special relationship is special,” the adviser said of Mr Romney, adding: “The White House didn’t fully appreciate the shared history we have”.
I am not shocked by this statement - I've always known this is what many conservatives believe. What shocks me is how blatant their statements have become.
