Dear Jason330, Delawareans do not give up, particularly when it comes to fighting to get people working now and creating the strongest possible public schools to ensure our state’s future. David Duke was arrested in Germany while he was addressing a group of about 100 German citizens "eager to hear [his] message of heritage and freedom." No doubt, Duke was spreading his neonazi hatred. However, in Germany, it is a crime to be a Nazi, and it is a crime to deny the Holocaust. Perhaps David wants to return to America. I hear the Republicans are looking for a suitable Presidential candidate to fit their views.

Luntz' handy-dandy guide looks like a mirror image of what Democrats should be saying:

President Obama, like most Presidents in this “Tough on Crime” era of the last 40 years, has been a veritable teetotaler when it comes to using his Pardon Power. Presidents, from Johnson to Obama, have erred on the side of their own political interests in not appearing soft on crime instead of showing mercy or righting pasts wrongs. Until this year. Over the last 12 months, the President has pardoned 22 people. What is behind this new found love of the really only unchecked power the President has?

These eight presidential wannabes are happy enough not only to demolish their own reputations but also that of their party, the once worthy party of Abraham Lincoln. They are also ruining the reputation of the United States. They lie, deceive, scuffle and speak every manner of idiocy. And they expose a political, economic, geographic and historical ignorance compared to which George W. Bush sounds like a scholar.

It occurs to me that Mitt Romney has been and is pursuing the very same "Inevitability" strategy that Hillary Clinton tried in 2008. It didn't work for Clinton, no doubt in part to the quality of her opponents in the Democratic primary. But I thought up until a few weeks ago that it was going to work for Romney, because his opposition was splintered among several weak, crazy and flawed candidates.

Michele Bachmann told an Iowa crowd today that, were she President right now, she would close down the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, I guess in retaliation to the storming of the British Embassy yesterday. Now, no doubt, the thought of Bachmann being President right now has caused you to start screaming, or laughing, or both, uncontrollably. I will wait for you to stop.
