Q: How can the GOP survive Trump & McConnell?

I'm seriously asking - how does the GOP go on? In trying to tear America to pieces, how does the GOP not end up in shreds? How long can a political party run entirely on trickle down chicanery, "owning libs" and racial hatred? The "emperor has no clothes" moment isn't coming. The GOP is a unified an battle ready as it has ever been. I'll freely admit it - I don't get it.
