It has become clear from his many appearances on Morning Joe that the last 18 years simply hasn't happened for Chris Coons. In Coonsworld the Republicans Party has not turned into the deformed white nationalist monstrosity we know today. His Republicans prayer breakfast buddies in the Senate are good wholesome patriots who "put the country first" and "lay aside their partisan differences" to "do what is right." We know he is aloof and disconnected from today's reality, but just how aloof and disconnected is he? Here is a glimpse. A recent fundraising email basically says, "I'll find common ground with zealots and psychos. Send me money." That's it. That's the whole fundraising appeal.

The Republicans spoiling for a HOT civil war have no fucking clue what a disaster it will be for everyone. For us, for them, for our children, for thier children, for their children's children, it would be an utter shitmess. They don't give a fuck. They'll get to shoot some libs and CNN reporters. That's all they are interested in.
