Hillary Really Does Scare Them

On Monday, RNC Chair roused himself from their Prime Directive of finding more old white people to vote for his candidates to threaten CNN and NBC with “No Debates For You!” if they go forward with projects for a documentary and for a miniseries about Hillary Clinton’s life. Both are planned for release around the 2014 timeframe. But the RNC is so scared of Hillary that they will threaten to not participate in 2016 Presidential debates on these networks:

How About A Hefty Dose Of Misogyny With Your Violent Rhetoric?

How About A Hefty Dose Of Misogyny With Your Violent Rhetoric?

Pete Santilli went on a disgusting rant and caught the attention of the Secret Service who paid him a visit saying…

“We are aware of Mr. Santilli’s comments and will take the appropriate follow up action,” Edwin M. Donovan, a Secret Service spokesperson, told TPM on Monday. “He certainly has a right to free speech, but the Secret Service has a right and an obligation to determine what a person’s intent is when making comments like this.”

And what were those comments?

‘Miss Hillary Clinton needs to be convicted, she needs to be tried, convicted and shot in the vagina,” he said. “I wanna pull the trigger. That ‘C U Next Tuesday’ has killed human beings that are in our ranks of our service. I want to remind you that in Benghazi, Miss Hillary ‘the fricken’ biggest vagina on the face of the planet’ told troops to stand down and to not go in and interfere with the operation that they set up because they’re moving arms; Barack Obama is moving drugs through the CIA out of Afghanistan and Barack Obama needs to be tried, convicted, and shot for crimes against the United States of America.”

Hillary Makes a Speech On the Unfinished Business of the 21st Century

Filed in Delaware by on April 7, 2013 2 Comments

It’s Hillary Clinton Day here at DL! Last Friday, Hillary Clinton took the stage at the Women in the World Summit in New York to make the case for women’s rights. Global women’s rights. (Am I the only one who really would have liked to have gone to this event?) Calling women’s rights the unfinished business of the century, she reminds us of how much women contribute to their places and how much even first world places like the US still have to go to achieve real equality.

The Daily Beast was apparently a sponsor of this event, and there is plenty of coverage there. This speech (and another upcoming this Tuesday, I believe) are why there is such a big slug of Hillary news and speculation over the last few days. She didn’t really touch on her future plans, except to say,“I look forward to being your partner in all the days and years ahead.” You can see the entire speech (approx 33 minutes, including Tina Brown intro) below.

Not So Suddenly Sudan

After months of hard work and analysis, the Obama Administration recently unveiled its Sudan strategy. According to the US State Department, the Sudan strategy will focus on three areas: A definitive end to conflict, gross human rights abuses, and genocide in Darfur. Implementation of the North-South CPA (Comprehensive Peace Agreement) that results in a peaceful […]

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has an interview with CNN where she is asked about the idiot John Bolton — and she just laughs: When they bring up their usual go-to pundits who are peddling the usual crazy and bamboozlement — you laugh at them. Treating them seriously just gets them more airtime. ps. […]

Speedbump For Hillary as Sec. of State

Filed in National by on November 25, 2008 7 Comments

One of my friends mentioned to me that there is a little bit of a Constitutional controversy swirling around Hillary.  There is a pesky little part of the Constitution that basically says that because Hillary has not completed her Senate term and the salary of Secretary of State was raised during her current term, she […]

Late Nite Oddity: I’m glad we are not here.

Washington (AP) – With just 13 days to go this election will be every bit as tight as the elections we’ve become used to. Hillary Clinton has been playing to “the middle” as expected focusing her entire campaign on trying to win centrist voters in Ohio and Florida. Meanwhile John McCain and his telegenic running […]

She’s Hillary Rodham Clinton and She Does Not Approve This Message

This is good, and I bet you hear this alot over the next few days (maybe weeks). The crowd is clearly receptive to her message of support for Obama and the crowd clearly boos the fact that the McCain camp is using her supporters against Obama and the Party. I wonder if the Obama […]

Is Hillary Finally Free?

Filed in National by on June 11, 2008 6 Comments

I wonder how many of Hillary’s life and political decisions were tied to a desire to be President. Would she have left Bill? Would she have voted against the war? Would she have triangulated her position on welfare and poverty? I’m serious.  She has amassed a huge amount of political capital and I think is […]
