John Kerry’s speech was one of the best.  If you missed it due to ego-driven pundits flapping their jaws about nothing please watch it now.  It perfectly contrasts Obama and McCain, and makes me wonder what on earth the speakers at the Republican Convention are going to talk about.

Oh, I know the Republican’s are going to spend most of their time trashing Obama and trying to scare the American people, but what will they offer to the country besides more of the same?  Lord knows, they can’t run on Bush’s success or McCain’s vision of…  Does McCain have a vision?  And I guess asking the American people if they’re better off today than they were eight years ago wouldn’t be… um… wise.

thanks! I did miss it. I happened onto a nice little crowd at Timothy’s on the riverfront last night next to Biden’s campaign HQ and was too busy jarring with people to catch it but I have been hearing that he brought up torture. Finally.

When are you going to post Jimmy Carter’s speech? I think that would be more relevant, given that Joe and Barry want to take America back to the 70s.

  5. mike w. says:

Post it! I didn’t get to see Carter, but he always makes me laugh.

Really? I could have sworn he was slotted to speak.

And we’ve seen Obama’s “vision” before. It’s not change it’s regression.

The Carter’s only greeted the conventioneers during a ‘walk about’….they showed a video of Carter’s work w/his ‘voice over’.
