Maybe an Early Election Night

Regarding Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Indiana, Montana, Ohio and North Carolina, the number crunchers at fivethirtyeight.com say…

If McCain drops any of those states, it’s pretty much over.

So here are the poll closing times.

Indiana 6:00pm (most of the state) Indiana is tight as a tick. But I like Obama’s trend line.

Florida 7:00pm Obama currently leads 47.6% to 45%, but Florida is a mess. They probably will not announce early.

Georgia 7:00pm Currently McCain 48.6% to Obama’s 46.4%. I’m giving McCain Georgia.

North Carolina 7:30pm Obama 48.2% to McCain’s 46.9%. This could be the ball game.

Ohio 7:30pm Even though Obama is crushing in Ohio (49.8 to 43.5), like Florida, I’m not holding my breath for Ohio results. It is a cluster fuck.

Missouri 8:00pm If the tar heel state does not get it done Missouri (Obama 48.4 to McCain 46.6) gets to clinch it.

Montana 9:00pm If Obama win here, that would just be gravy.

I still can’t believe the states on this list! Whenever I get nervous I look at the “new” swing states.

I think North Carolina will clinch it.
