  1. Truth Teller says:

Has the wedding taken place yet. My understanding that as a wedding present Sarah will issue a pardon

  2. Miscreant says:

    “White Trash Losers”

That was kind of *elitist* of you, don’t you think?

  3. h. says:

    Not in their world.

  4. you think WT was being to nice?

I was thinking shitbags myself. I think I agree with Mis, WT is too elitist for them

  5. Von Cracker says:

Being from New Castle, I know White Trash Losers when I see ’em.

With that said, I believe if a person who is about to be an in-law with their state’s current governor, who happens to be the Ragin’ Right’s darling Apocalypse catalyst, can’t keep off the smack and humiliates everyone close to them, then I say that qualifies!

Just calling it as I see it…

  6. Miscreant says:

    “…can’t keep off the smack…”

I can’t find any information regarding the exact type of “controlled substance” of which she allegedly had possession. If you know with certainty, please reveal. Think it could be good ole weed?
If so,it could alter the context f the conversation.

  7. Von Cracker says:

If it were weed, in AK, I’d doubt it would’ve been investigated at all. But yes, if it is the fine green bud, it would change everything. 😎

  8. based on VC and I knowing a person that lived in the area….I’m leaning towards VC’s assesment

  9. Not Brian says:

    Miscreant-

    It’s Meth. Has to be.

AK has relatively loose drug laws… the weed is essentially decriminalized. It would be hard to pick up felony charges unless it is something bad.

Meth is like the king of rural white trash drugs.

And I am not being elitist. I am from the land of white trash. I am one of them hiding amongst you.

  10. Von Cracker says:

    That’s the quintessential truth, Ruth.

  11. Unstable Isotope says:

Watching Sarah Palin’s life is a bit like watching Jerry Springer. Supposedly, Bristol Palin is due to give birth tomorrow.

  12. pandora says:

The truth is… if Palin had been a Dem the far right would be screaming their heads off about family values and the perils of liberalism.

    H.Y.P.O.C.R.I.T.E.S!

  13. liz says:

Wasilla the meth capital! 6 counts, wow!

Palin can pardon her right before the shot gun wedding.

  14. Shoe Throwing Instructor says:

She can see russia from her jail cell!

Cheap shot? maybe, but Sara cheap shotted anybody not from small town, so right at her.

  15. Miscreant says:

“The truth is… if Palin… Blah, bah, blah…”

Actually, the truth is… Palin wasn’t the one who was arrested.

  16. Puzzler says:

“Actually, the truth is… Palin wasn’t the one who was arrested.”

But she is awfully self-righteous. So, it’s pretty sweet that her daughter’s choice will have her sharing a maternity ward hospital room with a felony offender.

  17. Lee Ann says:

Is Caroline Kennedy just a Park Avenue Palin? Is there anbody home? Has anyone reading this blog “forgotten” to vote in 6 elections . . . as a chronic voter, I don’t like the idea of bestowing a US Senate seat on someone so indifferent to civic involvement in their city and state.

    From the AP:
“The Democrat registered at her current address on Manhattan’s Upper East Side in 1988. According to city Board of Elections records, she missed several Democratic mayoral primaries — typically important contests in left-leaning New York City — in 1989, 1993, 1997 and 2005. Republicans went on to win three out of four of those races in the general election.

She also missed the 2002 gubernatorial primary and general election, when Democrat H. Carl McCall faced Republican incumbent George Pataki and lost.

And she skipped the 1994 general election, when Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan was running for re-election for the same seat she hopes to take over if Clinton is confirmed as secretary of state in President-elect Barack Obama’s administration.”

  18. Joanne Christian says:

    Puzzler et al,

Let’s see we’ve gone from lesser drug charges, to felonies, to crystal meth, to sharing a maternity ward room with a felon…..let me just add real truth to all of this. If Bristol does crystal meth while in labor, that will be one speedy delivery.

  19. Unstable Isotope says:

I heard on Olbermann that one of the charges involved “manufacture.” It must be meth then.

  20. Joanne Christian says:

Well then, if Bristol does Oxycontin she may not feel back labor as strong.

  21. Joanne Christian says:

What a considerate, compassionate, soon to be mother-in-law!!

  22. Joanne Christian says:

And to think some mothers-in-law help set up a nursery–our gal Sal sets up a lab.

  23. “Is Caroline Kennedy just a Park Avenue Palin?”

It’s not like Hillary Clinton was qualified to have her seat when she was elected. Didn’t she “move” to the state days before the residency deadline in order to qualify? Other than decorating the white house, and barely practicing law, if at all, for the governorship and presidential years… what qualifications did she have? might as well give it to Caroline… the seat seems to only need a famous name as the sole qualification anyway.

After Caroline you can give it to Reagan’s kid who does conservative radio, then one of the Bush twins, or maybe Cheney’s lesbian daughter.

    *ducks from the incoming shoes*

  24. Tom S. says:

Speaking of white trash losers, did you ever hear the story of how barack obama’s two step-mothers met?

  25. Dorian Gray says:

Oh professor Tom why don’t you enlighten us with your 3 am genius.

  26. donviti says:

Actually, the truth is… Palin wasn’t the one who was arrested.

but she was in the same room as Sarah….as was bill ayers….

guilt by association my friend…aint it a bitch

  27. Unstable Isotope says:

LOL DV! She reaps what she sows.

  28. Joanne Christian says:

Hef- Is that really you trying to clean up a rumor?
Ah, the holiday spirit….!!! What next? A charitable vote for Kovach today?

  29. jason330 says:

All those Rush Limbaugh trips to Wasilla now make more sense.

  30. Von Cracker says:

Palin around with drug pushers, DV?

    😉

  31. Joanne Christian says:

LOL Jason. And you thought it was the caribou…Barbie.

  32. Geezer says:

“as a chronic voter, I don’t like the idea of bestowing a US Senate seat on someone so indifferent to civic involvement in their city and state.”

There are much better reasons to object to this pick.
