A burger with no ketchup???? That is un-American. Dijon Mustard??? Damn Communist. Seriously, I have never ordered a burger with only mustard before? I can’t imagine that it tastes good.

Love the reaction of the people outside. I don’t eat ketchup, either. Mustard or good BBQ sauce on a burger, but no ketchup.

I can understand BBQ. I actually like that. And I can even understand mustard, but with something else like Ketchup or BBQ. But mustard alone?

  3. cassandra_m says:

Yep. On a real burger — not some prefab deal — it works better with the flavor of the beef. Actually the best burger ever is ground rib eye seasoned with some salt and pepper stuffed with blue cheese (or stilton) and cooked just long enough for the cheese to be melty.

Just don’t put any ketchup on it.

My favorite burger has blue cheese, bacon and Dijon mustard…(sauteed onions optional).

And it’s half-price burger night at Kid’s too!

‘Get a close up of the tip jar when he’s paying.’

    ‘Yeah, that’s a good idea …’

  6. Delaware Dem says:

See, I hate blue cheese. My favorite burger involves BBQ and Bacon. And Five Guys are great.

Mmm… Kid’s has great burgers. My favorite is the one with swiss and sauteed mushrooms (DE burger).

Btw, I just love that video… it makes me smile.

    M.Opaliski…

While I could not tell what tip he put in, Wolf Blitzer says it was a $5 tip, which is pretty impressive for a couple of burgers.

  9. Delaware Dem says:

    Pandora…

    And I hate mushrooms. LOL.

  10. I go for mustard only. I love burgers with bleu cheese, bacon and mushrooms (probably not together).

  11. M.Opaliski says:

Dem, couldn’t care less what tip he gave as that wasn’t the point, the close up of the tip jar was the point, no head shot, just the jar, the money, then the fade back …

    You seem easily impressed.

  12. Delaware Dem says:

Ok, so you are commenting on the media’s focus on the tip jar. Point taken.

I’m down for having Dijon on a burger (I love anything spicy), but not WITHOUT ketchup. That’s just odd, Mr. President.
