Speaking in a packed VFW hall, Warren went on to address his question about her association with Occupy Wall Street. “I’ve been protesting what’s been going on on Wall Street for a very long time,” she said, but added that the movement has its own independent agenda and will proceed along its own course.

Update: Markell Administration Approves Partial Permit for Occupy DE

DNREC has apparently informed the Occupy Delaware applicants that the permit would be authorized for protests on Saturday and Sunday at Fletcher Brown Park during park hours. However, the permit could not be authorized for the weekends as there is a day care center right next to the park and the children use the park during the day for their outdoor activities. However, the letter that DNREC sent made clear “we would be pleased to work with Occupy Delaware to identify other parks at which a longer term permit could be issued.”

Delaware Cattle Call, Fall Edition [2012]

Next week and over the course of the next month, we are going to be highlighting each Representative District and Senate District, to find out about the new districts (since most if not all of the districts have undergone some changes, from minor to major), about which Representatives and Senators are calling it quits in 2012, which are safe, and which are in trouble. One of the reasons we are doing this is because of the seemingly inability of the Republican Party to act like a political party in the state of Delaware. With no candidates or even prospective candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, Insurance Commissioner and Senator, 2012 is looking disastrous for the state GOP and boring for the rest of us.
