    Republican presidents are measured by the Dow; Democratic presidents are measured by the deficit.

    Corporations love unemployment because wages and labor costs go down. “Our people are our most valuable resource” like sandbags are the most valuable resource of a hot-air balloonist.

    Strongly suspect the economy will not be “bouncing back” anytime soon, hard not to notice unemployment is still headed sharply upward. “Opening up the country” or not the damage is done and the badly botched stimulus a bit of a joke at this point.
