Song of the Day 8/31: Big Country, “In a Big Country”
Remember when this Scottish band hit the shores of our much bigger country? MTV was young and this video was in heavy rotation, boosting the song to No. 3 on the rock chart and No. 17 on the Hot 100. Guitarists Bruce Watson and group founder Stuart Adamson got their guitars to sound like bagpipes […]
Strange Web of Gaming Companies Connected to Maggie Jones & Bruce Ennis
Take a look: Keith Furlong and Frank Cantania are trying to get Maggie Jones in to advance some client’s goals in Delaware. I think it must be connected to online gaming, but I’m just guessing based on Furlong and Cantania’s web of connections.

Trump’s RWNJ’s Come To Portland. Make no mistake: The white nationalists are taking their cues directly from Trump. He creates the crisis, then blames it on ‘Democrat mayors’. Will Biden be able to place the blame where it belongs? If history is a guide, I doubt it. Racism Of Marines In Clear Relief. They won’t […]
‘Bulo’s Fave Tunes For August 2020
A great month for new music. One of the greatest months I can recall. I hardly know where to begin. Which is why I always do these lists in alphabetical order, and not that phony internet alpha order based on the first name. Real alphabetical order, the way G-d intended it: Songs as short stories […]
Coons Afraid to Debate Scarane
Coons is trying to sit on a big money lead and run out the clock. That’s just pitiful. This week, WHYY reached out to Chris Coons again, asking him to debate Jess. And again, Coons refused to comment. We can guess why — Jess is a values-driven, clear-eyed opponent. You know what she stands for, […]
Song of the Day 8/30: Yes, “America”
Recorded around the same time as the band’s “Fragile” LP, released in 1971, their 10-minute deconstruction of the Simon and Garfunkel classic was left off the album, but surfaced the next year on an Atlantic Records sampler of its various artists, where it incongruously followed John Prine’s “Sam Stone.” Guitarist Steve Howe, who had just […]
Why Does This Shady NJ Consulting Group Support Ennis & Jones?
Here is a website with no live links.
There is an address (909 Belmont Avenue
North Haledon, NJ 07508 which is 3 minutes away from the HQ of “Building Strong Communities PAC) some bios, including Keith Furlong’s and a list of services, but other links to pages like “news” and “articles” on the web site are dead ends.
It is fairly obvious to me that Catania Consulting Group, Inc. is working for someone who wants something to happen in the Delaware gaming industry, and they think getting Ennis and Jones re-elected and elected will help them accomplish whatever it is they want to accomplish. But who is the client, and what do they want? Why are Jones and Ennis the keys to the project?

Michael Moore Warns: Trump Is Poised To Do It Again. He says, and I agree, don’t count on the Democratic infrastructure to drag Biden across the finish line. We’ll need to do it ourselves. BTW, I’ve lost count of all the pleas for dollars I’ve gotten from the DNC. Other than Howard Dean, has there […]

The crowd at Trump’s NH rally just booed an announcement telling people to put on their masks
Can Biden win without the leftwing of the party? a lot of DC elites (including Biden) think that he can. The irony, of course, is that Biden is pilloried as a RADICAL LEFTIST anyway, so he could give the terrorist BLM fist bump to AOC on prime-time TV without losing any of the mythical “middle” but what do I know, I’m just a blogger.
Facebook removes troll network posing as Black Trump supporters
The company says activity by the pro-Trump network originated in Romania. Pro Tip: If a post starts out with “I’m a lifelong Democrat, but…” it has a 93% chance of being Russian garbage.
Why is this shady NJ super-PAC supporting Ennis & Jones and ONLY Ennis & Jones?
Who is behind the shady New Jersey SUPER PAC set up to help ONLY Bruce Ennis and Maggie Jones?
This shady PAC has a benign name “Building Stronger Communities” but information about the PAC is thin. The PAC’s web page only reveals the PAC’s New Jersey address, and that they support Maggie Jones and Bruce Ennis (and only Maggie Jones and Bruce Ennis).
Beyond that I couldn’t find much. It is listed as a “Super PAC” on Open secrets (see below). But there isn’t any information about the PAC’s operations, other than the fact that a guy named “Keith Furlong” is associated with it.
Song of the Day 8/28: The Beatles, “Happiness Is a Warm Gun”
The title phrase was the headline of an article in the NRA magazine The American Rifleman belonging to George Martin that John Lennon found laying around the Abbey Road studios. Lennon said he reaction was immediate. “I just thought it was a fantastic, insane thing to say. A warm gun means you just shot something.” […]

Pundits Ponder Day 4. I didn’t/couldn’t watch a single minute of it. Consensus was that Trump’s speech was boring. What’s your take? Yeah, We’re In A Civil War, All Right. Charlottesville, meet Kenosha. The cops and white militia groups are allies in this war. How Trump’s Company Charged Taxpayers $900K. Trump basically made the Secret […]
Scarane Ad & Biden Trolls Trump w/ Ad During RNC-lie-fest
This was some good trolling from Biden. I also liked Jess Scarane’s ad. I’ll post a link when I find it.
