The Onion called Steve Bannon “Trump’s most encrusted advisor”.   I also learned an arsonist targeted Dover’s Target.

On the whole, that’s not much news for a political blogger.    Wait…There is this one good news/bad news item in the New York Times.

The good news:

The bad news:

Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida is the most popular alternative.

I am having a torrid summer romance with Liz Cheney. We are wrong for each other and we both know it won’t last. But I can’t help myself. Apparently, a few Democratic donors feel the same way:

The article gave me a way to rationalize my summer fling:

“Our theory is that if that is the dividing line — that all politics is about if you’re for the peaceful transfer of power or not — the governing coalition will be the peaceful transfer of power coalition,” Mehlhorn added.

That made sense to me. It’s Republicans vs. the “peaceful transfer” coalition. No matter the issue on which you have always opposed Republicans, you can always fight for that issue later – as long as there’s democracy.

Good stuff. But why do Delaware Dems allow so many Republicans to go undeclared? It is THE issue. In the absence of any clear endorsement of “peaceful transfer” all republicans need to be treated as hostile to peaceful transfer and hostile to democracy.

Would have added Fascist to the list.
I knew Trump would fade, army of slack jawed 3d grade drop outs or not. DeSantis is the current would be autocrat, look at Florida and that’s what they want nationwide. The Jan.6th coup showed the world we are weak and our government fragile. Feel round two is coming and this time the idiots will not be in charge.

I scoured every Delaware media source I could think of.

Pete Schwartzkopf still has not resurfaced. 12 days after his fellow 14th RD committee member was convicted of three offenses.

We seek him here, we seek him there, we look for Scwartzkopf everywhere. Is he in heaven, or is he in, well, you know. That damned elusive DINO from hell.
