That Schaeffer used a council meeting to mount a political attack is less than shocking.
That he can pose as the good guy says all you need to know about SuxCo politics.
Schaefer came to Sussex after he wore out his grifter game in Smyrna. Rieley is a prolific MAGA who has a whole cadre of MAGA in his own family I believe it’s 11 adult children and his spouse was an out there covid denier.

Ah Yes! Schaefer in Smyrna, the high point of his career came when he tried to annex land north of town in New Castle Co., that’s where I’m at. When the residents were asked to vote on the proposal it received no, none, nada positive votes. As noted we flushed him out and he emerged to make more trouble in Sussex. He always struck me as Trump like, combative and mouthy to a fault.
This is the big Shaeffer deal that destroyed him in Smyrna that comes to mind
