Lessons from 2016 Debacle Shine Through Biden Statement on Sanders

Biden was quick to show that he was not going to repeat the mistakes of the abjectly horrible Hillary Clinton campaign.
And to your supporters I make the same commitment: I see you, I hear you, and I understand the urgency of what it is we have to get done in this country. I hope you will join us. You are more than welcome. You’re needed. Together we will defeat Donald Trump. And when we do that, we’ll not only do the hard work of rebuilding this nation — we’ll transform it.

American Journalism Fucking Sucks

Trump said "we have tests" but health experts said "we don't have tests." Trump said, "We inherited obsolete broken tests from Obama admin. Now we have good tests." Experts said, "That is not accurate."
Trump said "X" but experts said "Y". American journalism puts lies on equal footing with the truth. American journalists have no stomach for calling lies what they are. That's bad news for America.

One death. But he was probably asking for it. Also, we can all keep buying guns, so HUZZAH!! America #1!

To Carney's credit, in spite of the fact that we don't have adequate testing capacity, Delaware was an early adopter of "this is serious" approach. It is a realistic outlook that has slowed Delaware's rates of infection relative to the US in general. He also managed to get through the entire segment without trashing Democrats - which was very refreshing.
