Let’s be clear – Trump never called himself the second coming of God

Trump only quoted a crazy internet person & Newsmax TV personality Wayne Allyn Root who said "the Jewish people in Israel love him like he’s the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God." If this proves anything it is that it is impossible for anyone to be too toxic for Trump if they pay him a compliment. Dear Green Party, America needs you

Hi Green Party, I know you hate the Democratic Party as much as you hate the Republican Party. I know you see them as the same thing and I don't blame you for it. The "Democratic Party," since Bill Clinton has been horrible. In Delaware you don't have to look very far to find elected Democratic officials that are utterly indistinguishable from modern Republicans. Tom Carper, Chris Coons, John Carney, Kathleen McGuiness, Peter Schwartzkopf, and the list goes on. These are horrible, despicable people with garbage politics. You should never vote for these terrible people. I'm 100% with you on that, but stay with me. This is a Democratic Party on its way out. This execrable corporatists leadership doesn't represent the future of the party. Don't look at the leadership and think you are looking at the Democratic Party. Look at the people running for county council and state rep. Listen to "Highlands Bunker" and look at people knocking on doors for "Mom's Demand Action" and you will see people who you have a great deal in common with. Observations from Middletown’s Peach Fest

The peach blight of 1911 wiped out all the peach orchards around Middletown. No matter...traditions must be upheld. One tradition is a large turnout by political folks. I got there late, so missed most of the regulars. 9th RD Rep Kevin Hensley was there, and no wonder has this shit locked down. He gives out hand towels dunked in ice cold water. Genius! He is a terrible person though. A real low life. I mean, I don't know him, but he must be judging by the horrible low life's he shares a tent with. DJIA begins a bumpy ride down

The George W Bush Economic collapse began in August 2007.  The markets finally hit bottom 18 months later in February 2009.    Last time the markets crashed and the economy slid into a recession, it took a year and a half, and the election of Barrack Obama in 2008 to begin to turn things around.   If we are entering a similar Republican economic cycle, we'll be seeing layoffs and downsizings through February of 2021.

Which Democrat can set the media agenda?

This Wapo article is more evidence that media is more than happy to make the Presidential race about things Trump wants to talk about; slavery reparations and plastic straws. Clinton allowed herself to constantly play defence. I'm for whichever Democrat can break through the noise and carry the media along into a new narrative. So far Bernie, Warren, Beto, Kamala and Mayor Pete have all shown flashes of that ability but nobody has sustained it.
