The Facts About SB68, SB70, and SB82

The common-sense gun control bills currently locked up in the DE Senate do not impact the rights of legitimate law-abiding gun owners at all.   There is no sporting or home protection need for military weaponry with large-capacity magazines, and “permit to purchase” legislation is something that should be welcomed by law-abiding gun owners as […]

Call (302)744-4101 and ask John Carney to convene a Special Session of the General Assembly to consider gun control legislation

[Phone: (302) 744-4101] Tell him to convene a Special Session of the General Assembly to consider gun control legislation. Carney stated that he was ‘disappointed’ that little action was taken. Well, […]

The New Civil War Has Already Begun

Filed in National by on August 4, 2019 10 Comments

For all the yammering about a new civil war, Americans don’t seem to realize it’s already begun. It’s not a strictly sectional war like the first one. It’s a modern war, which means it’s being fought by guerrilla and terrorist tactics, and it’s been going on for several years now. Self-styled militias are the guerrilla […]

Action Items: Special Session of the General Assembly & Join Delaware Mom’s Demand Action

Two things we all need to be doing today:

1) Call Carney’s office [Phone: (302) 744-4101] and tell him to convene a Special Session of the General Assembly to consider gun control legislation. Carney stated that he was ‘disappointed’ that little action was taken. Well, now the Governor has the chance to DO something.

Convene a Special Session of the General Assembly doesn’t guarantee anything, but at least they’ll either have to decide to run the bills or to do nothing and go home. Which could have real political consequences.

2) Join Mom’s Demand Action they are really having an impact but more needs to be done. Here are their plainly stated goals. If you agree with them join them on Facebook.

Republican White Supremacist Terrorist Murders 20 in El Paso

This is a picture of the Republican White Supremacist Terrorist just before he murdered 20 people. Texas is an open-carry state, so it would have been illegal for a Wal Mart employee to request that the Republican not carry the weapon into the store. Here is a link to the Republican White Supremacist Terrorist’s Anti-Mexican, […]

Time to Face Facts: Joe Biden Is an Irredeemable Dick

Filed in National by on August 3, 2019 8 Comments

In January 2018, Joe Biden had a message for millennials. Asked about the plight of young adults facing expensive housing and huge student debt, Mr. Cuddles said, “I have no empathy for it. Give me a break.” And he’s still at it. Saturday, at an AFSCME conference on public service sponsored by HuffPo, he was […]

Christine O’Donnell was right after all

Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country. – Luke 4:24

Christine O’Donnell tried to warn us about human/animal hybrids, but did we listen?

Photo Credit: Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp. (For you young’uns, Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp was an American action/adventure comedy series that originally aired on ABC from September 12, 1970 to January 2, 1971. I eagerly watched every Saturday morning. This can be regarded as a measure of how bad TV was in 1970.

Why Joe Biden sounds like an idiot on the stump

Part of it is old age. “Dial oh-three-oh-three-oh-oh.” But a larger part is his asinine centrist, accommodationist (compromise now, compromise tomorrow, compromise forever) political philosophy that makes absolutely no sense in 2019 and leaves him sounding like a straight-up whackjob to everyone outside the DC bubble. Duncan Black sums it up well:  Better Things Are Not […]

Democratic Debate 2 – Day 2 Results

Democratic Debate 2 – Day 2 Results

This night was a little more fight oriented, but there was still a lot to like about the Democratic candidates. The moderators sucked again. (“Can you guarantee raising taxes won’t hurt the economy?” that was an actual question) All GOP frames all the time. Here is my take on the winners and losers:

Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet He is only included on the strength os one viral anti-Trump video. Under the bright lights, he is nothing more than terrible centrism defended poorly. Drop out already.

Former Vice President Joe Biden Joe actually did a pretty good job. despite the fact that Bill de Blasio tried to make a cottage industry out of attacking, him.

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio When he wasn’t trying to be the guy who broke Biden, he had some great thing to say. He screwed up his priorities so badly even Joe Biden commented on it.

New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker Like de Blasio, Booker saw beating up Joe as a way to be internet famous tomorrow. Again, it is a shame because he makes a great case when he isn’t pandering to Twitter.

Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro I like Castro. He didn’t get very much traction tonight though.

Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard She had it out for Harris in the way de Blasio had it out for Biden, Maybe it was all factual, but not a great look. Good ads during breaks.

New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand As much as I don’t like her she got in a good jab at Trump, and I love jabs at Trump.

California Sen. Kamala Harris Her attacks on Biden didn’t seem as strident or forced as de Blasio and Booker’s attacks. She is about to be a front runner and has the countenance of someone who is a front runner.

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee He won.

Businessman Andrew Yang I want to hear more about his guaranteed income plans.

Things that only exist in the fantasy world of Democratic Centrists:

Things that only exist in the fantasy world of Democratic Centrists:

For all their talk about being “realistic” and “pragmatic” the Democratic centrists (represented on the stage last night by John Delaney), appear to hold a few fantastical beliefs on par with believing in Santa Claus and trickle-down economics. So here is my list of things that only exist in the fantasy world of Democratic Centrists:

1) Persuadable Trump voters
2) People who absolutely LOVE their company health insurance

I’ll be adding to this list as centrist continue to expose themselves as looney crackpots.

Our Malicious Media – George McGovern Proves that Progressives Can’t Win

George McGovern was mentioned on CNN’s post-debate show. The Democratic Party presidential nominee in 1972 was liberal. He lost badly. It was 1972. Centrists Mike Dukakis, Al Gore, John Kerry, Hilary Clinton all lost but somehow it is 1972 that is instructive.
