Quote me….

huh.jpg

I can’t think of anything funny to say, but the thought of Bush striking a deal to get the Jews and Arabs to make nicey nice is hilarious on it’s face.

Jan Ting

Jan Ting is on NPR 90.9 if you are interested in hearing an Asian American Republican discuss immigration…

Update:  He is getting pounded by a female caller, the female caller is a (Temple Law Professor, which Jan Ting is too) about how asylum isn’t working the way we have it now.  the case loads are huge and they are overwhelmed.

Host: What Criteria would you used to deport illegals?

Ting: They are all subject to deportation.

Until the laws are changed they should be enforced.

Using a straw man example criminal parents shouldn’t be allowed to stay.

Update III:  He is getting smacked around by this lady on immigration pretty good.  Ting is saying that we have to use the laws and deport the people and she is saying how he just said they are overwhelmed now, how are they going to deport 15 million people if they are overwhelmed?  NICE

UPDATE IV: Immigration and Jim Crowe Laws are paralelled.  Female Jaya someone (still can’t get her name) says yes.

Thanks Von Cracker!

Update V: Ting:  Now he is asking why isn’t Mexico a rich country?  Talking about Corruption in Mexico.  He just mentioned Criminal Aliens!  HELLO, Talking point straw man.  As if 15 million little brown people are murdering everyone in the parking lots of Home Depot.

UPDATE VI: I can’t stand it:  Straw man after straw man.  they come over here to have their babies, steal our services we pay for.  Abusing their rights, if the parents get deported they can take their children.

The Audacity…

In an interview with Charlie Rose, Karl Rove suggested that Congress rushed the President into war. The President didn’t have enough time to assemble a coalition. He didn’t have time to plan. He couldn’t give the inspectors time to do their job. Oh, and he didn’t want to do it at election time because it would politicize the war vote.

I think I am going to be sick.

Here’s an old NYT article that sheds some light on dissenting voices, including our own Sen. Biden.

Yes, I’m going there

I don’t get it To take a spin on Kanye West’s most famous quote, “Black people don’t like black people”

I’m puzzled why blacks aren’t getting behind Obama in bigger droves. We had a corrupt moron running Philadelphia get re elected a few years ago, we had another moron BOMB a home in Philadelphia that got elected, we had a mayor on crack in our nations captial, heck we have a black mayor doing god knows what right here in Wilmington, Mayor Barry even while on crack get re-elected and yet black people nationally aren’t getting behind this guy?

Seriously people why the fuck not? Is he uppity? Is he to bougie? Help me understand why someone wouldn’t be prould to vote for someone that has the chance to change the history of black people in one fell swoop. Could you imagine blacks having someone to look up to besides athletes?  I was just wastching CBS and there was an elderly black woman and she said he isn’t ready yet.  WTF?  And the president we have now was the Governor of Texas and look at the bang up job he did

Which group represents your America?

you have to admit when you walk around the office you see some black people and even women these days.  Maybe not as many as you’d like but they are there.

Yet when you look at the faces of the GOP which one of them to you screams equality?  Which one wants to help you?  Which one wants to make America better?  Who wants to make sure that we are loved globally again.  Which one can get it done?  Which one will unite the country?  Who will not elect cronies? Who spread the wealth?

16 Republican Retirements (…and counting)

They just keep coming.

With this silent landslide in progress I got to thinking about Mike Castle. Granted, Castle shows no signs of retiring in spite of his horrible record and abject failure as a congressman – BUT let’s imagine he did.

The Republicans have NOBODY. Zero bench strength. Squadoosh.

It is sad in a way. If Castle quit today the DEGOP would have to just let the seat go. They’d have to watch it drift away like a helpless child at the state fair as watching a balloon shrink in the distance.

I can’t think of one legit Republican who could put up a fight for it.
