Real GOP News or The Onion?

You’ve heard of gateway drugs — smoking marijuana supposedly leads to harder, more addictive substances. But what about “gateway sexual activity”: the hand-holding, lip-locking and light-grazes that can lead to … other things?

Didn’t see this Republican malfeasance coming…

Thune: Senate Republicans Might Escalate Gov’t Shutdown Fight
A member of the Senate GOP leadership says he and his colleagues could end up backing House Republicans in their efforts to fund the government at levels below those agreed to in the bipartisan debt-limit deal last August, increasing the chances of a government shutdown fight just weeks before the 2012 election.
It is all about winning back the White House for these guys. Republicans view wrecking the economy as a wholly legitimate strategy to that end. Anybody who thinks otherwise has their head up their ass.

The Iron Lady

There is no doubt that Margret Thatcher was a pretty horrible person. She was English (strike one). She popularized the economic radicalism which our economy is still suffering under today (strike two), and she was a shitty mother (strike three). Nevertheless, she was an effective leader for the British Conservative Party who brought them back from utter irrelevancy. The way she did is a worthwhile study for Democrats who like the x's and o's of political strategy.

Ken Grant is one of the sane DE Republicans? Really?

He claims to be, and yet Grant plans to vote for Gingrich and has taken to facebook to explain why. His feeling were hurt by Romney or something. So, c'mon y'all - let's vote for an utter maniac!! That sounds good. Who can figure out Republicans these day? I sure can't. Take Gingrich for example. What's with Gingrich's Delaware Strategy? He is planning on using Delaware as a springboard back into legitimacy? Seriously. What's the deal?

Ask Dr. Liberal – “I’ve Fallen and I can’t get up.”

Dear Dr. Liberal. A few years ago, I fell down in a well and no one has come to rescue me yet. Damn that Lassie. But as I contemplate my existence in the bottom of the well, I got to thinking about politics and how my current situation mirrors many on the far left. So, I've got to wondering, you know since I'm stuck in this well and all, has anyone come to the rescue of the far left? Did anyone primary Obama? Kucinich? What's Nader up to? I guess it comes down to this: Who is the far left going to vote for in November so that they can get their pony in January? Awfully Lonely, Little Timmy Stuck in a Well, Delaware
