Questions For John Carney’s “Bi-partisan” Coalition

This looks good on it's face, but the devil is in the bi-partisanship.
Rep. Carney Leads Bipartisan Coalition of 111 members Urging President Obama to Support Six-Year Transportation Package 62 Democrats and 49 Republicans say long-term reauthorization will create jobs and jumpstart critical infrastructure projects

Welcome News Journal Readers

Unopposed, Gov Markell Sends Out First Campaign Fundraising Email

Governor Markell is still unopposed right?
Dear Jason330, Delawareans do not give up, particularly when it comes to fighting to get people working now and creating the strongest possible public schools to ensure our state’s future. We stay focused, and we keep fighting, to move forward together, sometimes against profoundly difficult odds. Because of your support in the past, I have had the honor of helping to lead that fight the last few years – to give new hope and new light at shuttered manufacturing facilities, to help small businesses through our LIFT program, and to be responsible stewards of public resources.

But could Republicans possibly be stupid enough to nominate Newt "serial adulterer, lobbyist for Fannie Mae, delivered divorce papers to his wife on her cancer bed, has a million dollar line of credit at a jewelry store" Gingrich? Why, yes. They could well be that stupid.

Let me clear that confusion up with the first draft of the "Democrats for Kovach" manifesto. This is an open source manifesto, so please take part in honing the "Democrats for Kovach" manifesto in the Comments section.
