...it's that I see him running a mincing, timid and ultimately fucked-up repeat of 2016 campaign. The idea that this is going to be a close election makes me insane with anger. For example, if he picks Kobs* for a running mate (or some similarly terrible person) I will seriously lose. Like "somebody hide all the knives" lose it.

This happens when your only argument is that you are slightly less bad than the Republicans. Team Biden has no visible affirmative campaign, so it is in panic mode over the announcement of third party candidate that will impact the terrible "50%+1" electoral college strategy.
